Send sales order on a specific date

You can create a sales order and send it at a later date. You can do so by entering the scheduled shipment date in the sales order’s delivery options.

In that case, the sales order will not immediately get the status “ready for picking”. The sales order will be placed “on hold” until the date of shipping, when the status will be automatically changed to “ready for picking”. If you want to pick the sales order earlier, you can change the status manually.
