How does te link between my webshop and Webship Online work?

The basis for any link between a webshop and Webship Online is one-way communication: the orders to be processed are sent to Webship Online.

We can then expand our links, step by step. At the moment, two-way communication is possible for Woocommerce, Bol.com and Magento 2. This means that not only the orders that have to be processed are sent to Webship Online, but that Webship Online also synchronises stock levels, updates order statuses and provides track & trace numbers if possible. When new products are created in Webship Online, they can also be published immediately on the linked web shop platforms.

Below is an overview of the links, including the synchronisation direction:

  • Woocommerce: two-way
  • Magento 2: two-way
  • Bol.com: two-way
  • Lightspeed: one-way
  • Shopify: one-way

We are making every effort to provide two-way communication for Lightspeed and Shopify as well. Keep an eye on our website and social media for more updates!

Automatic synchronisation

On platforms that do not have webhooks enabled, a periodic synchronisation will be performed, to retrieve the orders. For platforms that do have webhooks enabled, this synchronisation will be performed as well. This is a back-up, to make sure that no orders have been missed in the real-time webhook connection. You can find the synchronisation schedule for each platform below:
MAGENTO Every hour + (0 & 30) minutes
BOL.COM Every hour + (5 & 35) minutes
SHOPIFY Every hour + (10 & 40) minutes
WOOCOMMERCE Every hour + (15 & 45) minutes
LIGHTSPEED Every hour + 20 minutes
REMOTE CSV IMPORT Every hour + (25 & 55) minutes
